Residents of Northeast Somerset and Bath can get advice and help in applying for a number of benefits and schemes from Housing Support Gateway. The not-for-profit organisation does not directly offer financial aid to the vulnerable, but instead they are a resource that people can turn to for other support and they partner with a number of providers in the county.

They have partnership with charities and government agencies, and based on the results on an assessment and the application that is completed by the client, a low income individuals can receive various type of aid ranging from grants for bills to assistance for paying a rent deposit and more. If Housing Support Gateway or its partners are able to assist, they will provide many other programmes to the client.
