Oxfordshire emergency food banks

Food banks can assist individuals that are struggling or families living in poverty across the Oxfordshire area. Most of the centres will require people to have a voucher in order to receive a parcel, and this can be obtained from a number of care workers in Oxford and other cities.

The services available from the foodbanks and soup kitchens is extensive, and people can receive a box of groceries with tinned meats, non-perishable items, and other types of food. There are also a few soup kitchens in Oxfordshire that will serve a meal to the homeless or low income. Most of the charities also provide other assistance such as signpost people government benefits and financial aid.

The primary food banks are noted below. Each has limited hours and resources, but the centres will do their best to meet the requests of people that are struggling.
